PeopleSoft Corporate Event Promotion
PeopleSoft's Summit at Blackhawk was a 3-day event designed to
introduce the company and its products to the CEOs of PeopleSoft's top
100 most-wanted clients. Knowing that typical invitations would hardly
impress this over-solicited group, I designed an elegant black wood box.
Each would be hand assembled and delivered. Inside, recipients found a
black
hawk-embossed golden
golf ball with a personally signed note from PeopleSoft's own CEO, David
Duffield. Response was unprecedented! Most of those invited asked to bring
guests of their own, virtually doubling attendance originally planned.
btw:
While this invitation generated an almost 200% response, its entire cost
was only 50% of budgets that predated my involvement.
